Description
DB9 Solderless Serial-to-9-Pin Terminal Thin Female Adapter
đ Product description
The DB9 Solderless Serial to 9pin Terminal Thinner Female Adapter is a compact DB9 female breakout adapter designed to connect individual wires to a 9-pin D-Sub connector without soldering. Each DB9 contact is routed to an individual screw terminal, allowing the user to create a custom cable pinout quickly and conveniently.
The adapter is suitable for custom serial cables, equipment testing, prototyping, maintenance, industrial automation and communication-system installations. Since no soldering iron is required, the wiring can be assembled, inspected, changed or repaired directly on site.
Its slim housing is only 16 mm thick, approximately 4 mm thinner than a conventional solderless DB9 connector. This makes the adapter especially useful in control cabinets, compact equipment enclosures and installations where the space around the DB9 port is limited.
â ī¸ This is a passive pin-breakout adapter. It does not convert voltage levels or convert between RS232, RS422 and RS485 communication standards.
⨠Main features
- Female DB9 9-pin D-Sub connector.
- Individual screw terminal for every DB9 contact.
- No soldering required.

âšī¸ Important information
DB9 pin assignments are not identical for all devices. Always check the pinout diagram in the documentation of the equipment before connecting the wires.
The adapter does not determine the communication protocol and does not contain an electronic signal converter. RS232, RS422 and RS485 use different electrical signalling methods, so equipment using different standards may require an appropriate active converter.
