Kapton tape is a self-adhesive heat and chemical resistant protective tape for protecting sensitive components (connectors, integrated circuits, and jacks) during wave or hot air soldering. Ideal for servicing cell phones, laptops and other mobile devices where you need to protect adjacent components and systems from overheating or other damage during hot air soldering. Tape leaves no adhesive residue when removed.
