IR Barrier – Infrared Light Sensor – HD-DS30CM
The IR barrier is an infrared (IR) light sensor system that enables simple motion detection. It operates using a transmitter that emits a beam of infrared light invisible to the human eye, and a receiver on the opposite side that is sensitive to the same light. When an object passes between them and is not transparent to IR radiation, the “beam is interrupted”, and the receiver reports this condition.
