Description
KONNWEI BK300 Battery Monitor, 6/12/24 V, Bluetooth, BKmonitor
The KONNWEI BK300 is a Bluetooth battery monitor and vehicle electrical-system tester designed for direct connection to a vehicle battery. Using the BKmonitor mobile app, it can display battery voltage, perform cranking and charging-system tests, review voltage history and provide alerts when abnormal data is detected. The monitor is powered directly from the connected battery and therefore requires no internal battery.
Key specifications:
6/12/24 V systems • 3–60 V input • Bluetooth 5.0 • approx. 1.0 mA average current • BKmonitor for iOS/Android
Key features and benefits
- Real-time voltage monitoring – battery-voltage data is transmitted to the BKmonitor app for quick assessment of the electrical system.
- Cranking Test – helps assess battery and starting-system behaviour during engine cranking.
- Charging Test – allows the vehicle charging system to be checked while monitoring operating voltage.
- Voltage history – stored voltage data can be reviewed in graphical form to observe changes over time.
- Abnormal-data alerts – when a Bluetooth connection is available, the app can notify the user of detected battery or electrical-system abnormalities.
- Driving history – records individual driving periods for later review.
- Low power consumption – product documentation specifies an average current consumption of approximately 1.0 mA, making the monitor suitable for long-term connection.
- Data storage and sharing – test information can be stored and shared through the BKmonitor app.
- Bluetooth firmware updating – firmware updates are supported through the mobile application.
- Connection protection – short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection are provided.
Applications
The KONNWEI BK300 is intended for monitoring vehicle batteries and the associated starting and charging systems. The manufacturer lists cars, motorcycles, trucks, RVs, boats and other vehicles using 6 V, 12 V or 24 V electrical systems.
It is particularly useful for vehicles that are used intermittently or remain parked for extended periods, as voltage history can help identify battery discharge or charging-system problems before they result in starting difficulties.
Compatibility and limitations
- The manufacturer's product page specifies compatibility with 6 V, 12 V and 24 V vehicle battery systems.
- The BKmonitor application supports Android and iOS mobile devices.
- BKmonitor documentation lists conventional lead-acid, AGM and GEL automotive batteries among the supported battery types.
- A Bluetooth connection to a smartphone or tablet is required for live data and app functions.
- Live readings and alerts depend on Bluetooth connectivity; the BK300 is not a Wi-Fi, cellular or Internet-based remote monitoring device.
- The BK300 is a monitor and tester, not a battery charger. It does not charge, desulfate or regenerate a battery.
- It is not an OBD2 diagnostic adapter and does not read vehicle ECU diagnostic trouble codes.
