# Universal PIR Type Sensor
The universal PIR type sensor enables motion detection. It can be used for building alarm systems, robots, models, and similar applications. PIR sensors can be used in alarm installations and devices where motion detection is required. When motion is detected, the sensor outputs a high logic level. When motion stops, the output changes to a low logic level.
