Description
The G30-3B3NC photoelectric sensor is a cylindrical Ø30 mm infrared proximity (object) sensor with a retro-reflective operating principle.
The maximum sensing range of this G30 series retro-reflective sensor is up to 3 m.
The sensor housing is made of robust ABS plastic and is potted with epoxy resin, providing protection rating IP67. The IP67 protection rating means that the sensor can be reliably operated in very humid and aggressive environments.
Since photoelectric sensors use light to detect objects, they are suitable for detecting objects made of both metallic and non-metallic materials.
Typical applications of this photoelectric proximity sensor include position and distance monitoring, bottle counting on conveyor lines, and control of automatic doors and gates.
