Description
This module converts an analog voltage of 0–10 V into a PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) signal.
Specifications
- Operating voltage: 5–12 V DC
- PWM frequency: approx. 50 kHz
- PWM amplitude: 5 V (logic level)
- Input voltage range (selectable): 0–5 V / 0–10 V (jumper selectable)
- Conversion characteristic: 0–100 % PWM duty cycle for 0–full-scale input
- Tolerance (linearity / gain): 1–3 %
Connections
- VCC – +5…12 V DC operating supply (board power input)
- GND – 0 V supply return for 5…12 V
- VIN – 0…10 V analog input (converted to PWM)
- GND – analog input return (0…10 V)
- PWM – PWM output (5 V amplitude)
- GND – PWM output return
Usage
- Connect the operating supply to VCC (+) and GND (–). Do not reverse the polarity, otherwise the board and connected devices may be damaged.
- Apply an adjustable analog voltage to the VIN terminal.
- Select the desired input range (0–5 V or 0–10 V) using the jumper as indicated on the back of the PCB. The factory default setting is 0–5 V.
- The output at PWM is a PWM signal whose duty cycle varies proportionally with the input voltage.
- Accuracy can be fine‑tuned using the on‑board potentiometer.
