Description

Drawing

This module converts an analog voltage of 0–10 V into a PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) signal.

Specifications

  • Operating voltage: 5–12 V DC
  • PWM frequency: approx. 50 kHz
  • PWM amplitude: 5 V (logic level)
  • Input voltage range (selectable): 0–5 V / 0–10 V (jumper selectable)
  • Conversion characteristic: 0–100 % PWM duty cycle for 0–full-scale input
  • Tolerance (linearity / gain): 1–3 %

Connections

  • VCC – +5…12 V DC operating supply (board power input)
  • GND – 0 V supply return for 5…12 V
  • VIN – 0…10 V analog input (converted to PWM)
  • GND – analog input return (0…10 V)
  • PWM – PWM output (5 V amplitude)
  • GND – PWM output return

Usage

  1. Connect the operating supply to VCC (+) and GND (–). Do not reverse the polarity, otherwise the board and connected devices may be damaged.
  2. Apply an adjustable analog voltage to the VIN terminal.
  3. Select the desired input range (0–5 V or 0–10 V) using the jumper as indicated on the back of the PCB. The factory default setting is 0–5 V.
  4. The output at PWM is a PWM signal whose duty cycle varies proportionally with the input voltage.
  5. Accuracy can be fine‑tuned using the on‑board potentiometer.
