SKYRC iMAX B6mini Universal Battery Charger/Discharger, 60 W, 6 A, with Balancing
The SKYRC iMAX B6mini is a microprocessor-controlled universal battery charger and discharger designed for LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion, LiFe, NiMH, NiCd and lead-acid (Pb) batteries. Its integrated lithium cell balancer helps equalize individual cell voltages, while multiple charging, discharging and storage modes provide flexibility for different battery types. The charger also measures battery voltage and internal resistance and supports PC control via USB.

Compatibility and Limitations
- Supports LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion and LiFe battery packs with 1–6 cells connected in series (1–6S).
- Supports NiMH and NiCd batteries with 1–15 cells connected in series.
- Supports 2–20 V lead-acid (Pb) batteries.
- Integrated JST-XH balance connectors support 2–6S lithium battery packs.
- LiHV mode supports high-voltage lithium-polymer batteries with a final charging voltage of up to 4.35 V per cell.
- Only one battery or battery pack can be charged at a time.
- Requires an external 11–18 V DC power source. The manufacturer recommends a power supply capable of delivering at least 6 A.
- PC connectivity requires a USB-A to Micro-USB cable. The charger is compatible with Charge Master software for Windows.
- The manufacturer specifies smartphone control via an optional external Wi-Fi module for iOS and Android. Wi-Fi is not built into the charger.
- Direct connection to a 230 V AC mains supply is not supported. A separate AC/DC power supply is required.

Design and Controls
The charger features a metal enclosure, a backlit LCD and four control buttons. The display shows the selected program, charging or discharging current, battery voltage, elapsed time and transferred charge.
The device includes main battery output connectors, 2–6S JST-XH balance sockets, a DC power input, a Micro-USB interface and an external temperature sensor port.
Important Operating and Safety Notes
- Before charging, select the correct battery chemistry, cell count, charging current and final voltage according to the battery manufacturer's specifications.
- The 6 A rating represents the maximum charging current and is not guaranteed at every battery voltage. The actual charging current is also limited by the 60 W maximum charging power.
- The use of a balance connector is recommended when charging multi-cell lithium batteries.
- Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable, damaged or incompatible batteries.
- Never leave the charger and battery unattended during operation. Place both on a heat-resistant, non-flammable and non-conductive surface.
- To prevent short circuits, connect the charging lead to the charger before connecting the battery. Disconnect in the reverse order.
- Battery temperature monitoring and temperature-based protection require an optional external temperature sensor.
