The LTC3780 DC-DC Automatic Step-Up / Step-Down Regulator Module is a high-efficiency buck-boost power converter designed to provide a stable adjustable DC output voltage even when the input voltage is higher, lower, or equal to the required output voltage. Thanks to its automatic buck-boost operation, the module can seamlessly regulate voltage without manual switching between step-up and step-down modes.

✅ Main Advantages
The LTC3780 module is especially useful in systems where the input voltage is unstable or changes during operation. For example, when powered from batteries, the voltage decreases as the battery discharges, but the module can still maintain the selected output voltage.
